Time Machine Commercial
A 30-second commercial for a Fluxco Time Machine. "We do not deal with what was. We deal with what should have been."
The Bard's Battle Banter
This challenging tongue twister -- penned by Ruth N. West -- gave me a lot of trouble because I was determined to record myself saying the entire piece in one take. After about fifty attempts, I finally did it, while simultaneously bringing forth an eccentric, beloved character performance. Enjoy!
The Bartender and the Hick
My friend wrote up a draft for an awesome joke in a script-like form, so I made up two completely different character voices and gave it my best shot to bring it to life.
Ford Radio Commercial
A radio commercial that I did at a voice-over workshop. I am not affiliated with the Ford Motor Company, nor am I being paid by them to post this sound clip. This was just a reading exercise.
Narration - Proverbs, Chapter 2 (New International Version)
I had been suffering from a really bad cold for a couple days, and one morning I woke up and had practically no voice. After fighting really hard to speak for about thirty minutes, I noticed my voice had a really interesting rasp to it, so in the spur of the moment, I looked up one of my favorite proverbs in the Bible, put on a mild Scottish accent, and had some fun.
Voice Imitation - Heath Ledger from "The Dark Knight"
An early recording of my imitation of Heath Ledger's unforgettable scene with Aaron Eckhart.
Noir Memoir
Written by Simon Ashtear
After reading Simon's script for the opening chapter of this wonderful tale of mystery, I decided to bring it to life. I voiced the detective and recorded my own organic sounds for the background ambience. The woman's voice was wonderfully provided by Ruth N. West. If you liked this segment and would like to hear more of the story, or would like contact information for Simon or Ruth, submit a request via the "Contact" tab.
